Margaret E. Mason, 71, went home to be with the Lord on April 7, 2010 after a long illness. She retired from Akron General Medical Center after 26 years of service, and was a member of the Hillwood Chapel for many years. Margaret is survived by her son, Christopher McDaniel; daughter, Sherrie McDaniel; mother, Louise Schmeiser; sisters, Mary Ann Steinmetz, and Gloria Sellers; and many other loving family members. Calling hours will be held Friday, April 9, from 2 to 6 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a funeral service will be held Saturday, April 10, at 11 am.
