Marcia Nazario was born June 28, 1943 in Xenia, Ohio to Ruth (Buzz) Culp Phillips and Elvin Phillips.
Marcia was a 1961 graduate of Farrell High School, Farrell, PA. Marcia relocated to Akron, Ohio and was employed for many years in the medical field as a Nurse's Assistant. She was employed at Akron General Hospital and worked with various Home Health Agencies.
Marcia Nazario departed this life on December 16, 2018 at her residence after a long and courageous battle with cancer. By her side was her companion and care taker. Derrick Jackson.
Marcia leaves to cherish her memory, her companion, Derrick Jackson; uncles, Bishop Dr. Robert Culp and Pete Culp of Toledo, Ohio; her aunts, Bunny Porter of Sharon, Pennsylvania, and Anita Culp of Akron, Ohio; and a host of cousins and friends.
Marcia was preceded in death by her parents, Elvin Phillips and Ruth Culp Phillips Thomas; step-father, James (Cradle) Thomas; and her husband, Eddy Nazario.
A memorial service will be held at Newcomer 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, on Saturday January 5, 2019 at 1pm, officiated by Bishop Dr. Robert Culp.
