Lyle Glenn Cordi

Lyle Glenn Cordi, 84, of Uniontown, passed away April 4, 2014. He was born in Hiora, WV on December 6, 1929 to the late Dominic and Nora Cordi.
He was preceded in death by his brothers: Noble, Dutch, Joe, Darrell, Bob, and Paul and sisters Lou, Margaret, Evelyn, Genna, and Georgia. Lyle worked at Goodyear for 32 years.
Lyle is survived by his loving wife, Ota. They enjoyed 54 happy years of marriage. Sons, Michael, Steven, and Kevin (Barbara); daughters, Pamela (Russell) Jones, Sherry (Keith) Thomas and Melinda Cordi; 7 grandchildren; Amy, Michael, Laura, Matthew, Brittany, Jessica, and his little Angel Sky.
Brother, Donald Cordy of Uniontown and sister, Velma Verleny of Cuyahoga Falls.He leaves many nephews and nieces.
Words are not enough to explore our deep regret but in our celebration of his life, we go beyond the words, and we share our memories. He will be dearly missed and not forgotten as he resides in heaven. We remember that his story will always be told by those who knew and loved him.
Family and friends may call on Friday, April 11, from 5-7 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 12 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Mark O'Donnell officiating. Interment at East Liberty Cemetery.
