Lucina C. Bland, 88, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2014 at her home in Tallmadge. She was born April 28, 1925 in Tampa, Florida. Lucina was 'Mom' to everyone who met her.
She is survived by her daughters; Karen Smith of Tallmadge, OH, Julie (Ted) Piens-Moore of Marblehead, MA, and Laura (Brian) VonAtzingen of Rollinsville, CO, grandchildren; Lucina Ann, Taylor, Trevor, Ashley and Amy Lu and 4 great grandchildren.
Private family services will be observed. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or through www.stjude.org.
