Lois Young

Lois Young, 77, of Springfield Township, passed away March 6, 2017. She was born in Scott County, TN to Frank and Bertha Crabtree in 1939. Lois moved to Ohio in 1958 where she later met and married her late husband Roland J. Young. She was preceded in death by her sons, Robert and Steven; great-grandsons, Lucas and Patrick; dear friend, Ralph "Mac", and beloved dog Sheba. Lois is survived by her son, Rick (Angie); daughter, Julia (Dan); daughters-in-law, Kathy and Shellie; grandchildren, Richard (Becca), Steven (Meg), Mistie (Michael), Scott, Katherine (Ryan), Crystal, Jeffrey, Brandon, Kaitlyn, Nick and Kasandra; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Janice; brother, DT; and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call from 12-2pm on Friday, March 10, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, with funeral service at 2pm. Interment to follow at Grandview Memorial Park, Ravenna.
