Lois Marie Morgan, 76, passed away August 25, 2014. She was born in Akron on July 20, 1938 and resided here her whole life until moving to Doylestown a few years ago. Lois graduated from Akron Central High School in 1957 and maintained friendships made there ever since. She looked forward to frequent dinners with her fellow classmates. Lois spent many years working in the service industry. Most recently she was employed at WestPoint Market and Fairlawn Country Club, retiring due to the onset of Alzheimer's Disease. She was loved by everyone she knew and will be deeply missed.
Lois was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Morgan-Pfautz. She is survived by her children, Cheryl Morgan and Michael (Charlotte) Morgan; her devoted longtime partner, Roy Lipscomb; her special friend of over 65 years, Kay Tofanelli; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 30, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. followed by a 4:00 p.m. funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Private interment will take place at Hillside Memorial Park at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
