Lois V. Jones

Lois V. Jones, age 93, of Copley, passed away on May 27, 2025 at Tranquility of Copley. She was born on May 19, 1932 to the late Walter and Etta Mohney.

Lois worked as a housekeeper at Allegheny Hospital for many years before her retirement.

Lois is survived by her loving children, Gary Woods, Debra (Donald) Knisley, Chuck Woods, Mark (Sue) Jones and Kenny Jones; twelve grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and brother, Butch (Carolyn) Mohney.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Ronald Jones and Glenn Woods; and sisters, Carole, Marlene and Colleen.

Family and friends are invited to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N Canton Rd, Akron, OH 44305) on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 from 10:30am until 12:30pm. Her Funeral Service will begin at 12:30pm.

Lois will then be laid to rest at Northlawn Memorial Gardens (4724 State Rd, Peninsula, OH 44264).
