Lisa M. Christopher

Lisa M. Christopher, 58, of Brimfield Township, passed away on April 13, 2026. She was born in Akron, Ohio on April 5, 1968 and graduated from Field High School, Class of 1986.

Lisa had a warm, generous heart. She would help anyone in need, including animals. Her children often brought home injured animals and Lisa would feed and nurture them until they could be released back into the wild. Among her favorite rescue animals was an opossum named Jinx.

An excellent baker, Lisa turned her talents into the business Lisa's Goodies and Treats. She made and sold holiday cookie trays, cheesecakes, and more. Her sauerkraut balls were legendary.

Above all, Lisa was devoted to her family. She was a beloved mother, daughter, and sister and especially enjoyed being Nana to her seven grandchildren.

Recently, Lisa rededicated her life to the Lord. Although she will never be replaced here on Earth, her family looks forward to being reunited in Heaven some day.

Lisa was preceded in death by, Earl Davidson; grandparents, Cecil P. and Bertha Martin, Emma and Everett Grimes; uncle, Cecil E. Martin; and aunt, LaDonna Martin.

Lisa will be dearly missed by her children, Tera Gipson, Kylee Sigley, Rhiannon Van Meter, and Nicholas Christopher; parents, Patricia and Donald Grimes; brother, Andy (Kim) Grimes; grandchildren, Miguel, Daviya, Tie'ra, Alaeya, Amier, Landyn, and Stormi; and numerous other special relatives and friends. Lisa also leaves her faithful dog, Gracie.

Lisa's family will hold a celebration of life at a later date. Details will be posted on social media.
