Linda Jewel Pirt

Linda Jewel Pirt passed away unexpectedly at her home on December 21st, 2025 at the age of 77.

Linda was born on November 3rd, 1948 in Paintsville, KY to Ernest and Estelle Pack.

She married Dennis on March 24th, 1979. Dennis preceded her in death on August 4th, 2022.

Linda is survived by her children, Christi (Scott) Emmert, Melissa (James) Pirt, Dennis Pirt Jr., Lori (Kevin) Dee; grandchildren Cory, Nathan, Cody, Aiden, Dennis III, Ariel, Kaci, Kyle, MacKenzie; great-grandchildren Sawyer, Alexx and AriYana; great-great-grandchild Orion. Brothers Roger and Jim Pack. Sister-in-law Carol Pirt. Also many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Louella Pack, brother Ron Pack,and grandson Skylar Brockwell.

True to her loving and caring nature, the majority of her career was spent at Edwin Shaw Hospital, where she made lifelong friends. After their closing she moved to Summit Home Health before retirement.

Beside her great love of family, she had two other loves! Going to the beach with her family and Gatlinburg. And she was always up for any adventure or travel. She leaves behind a legacy of love and will be deeply missed by all.
