Linda M. Croston, 68, passed away on September 29, 2015. She was born on July 28, 1947 in Marietta, Ohio. Linda was very active as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. She belonged to the Marietta Congregation and also attended the Central Congregation in Akron for over 30 years. Linda was devoted to her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl "Mark" Croston; father, Harold Nice; mother, Ilena Mayle; and three siblings. She will be deeply missed by her children, Marcy (Mike) Mayle, Sherry (Michael) Simmons, Lora Williams, and Tabitha Croston; siblings, William Mayle, Marla Nice, Melissa Mayle, Alda Mayle, Connie Davis, Tom Nice, Fred Nice, and Tamara Cunningham; grandchildren, David Croston, Carlina Croston, Michael Mayle Jr., Kelly Mayle, Alysa Croston, Marcus Croston, Richard Williams II, Chessie Croston, and Lucas Williams; five great-grandchildren and two on the way. Visitation will be Saturday, October 3, 2015 from 10-11 followed by an 11:00 a.m. funeral service with Brother Henry Dixon officiating at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
