Linda Sue Lewis, born on March 20, 1948, and departing this life on May 18, 2026, was a cherished soul whose warmth and generosity left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her life was a testament to unwavering love, boundless kindness, and a joyful spirit that embraced each day with gratitude and enthusiasm.

Married to her beloved husband Timothy Lewis for 54 years, Linda’s devotion to her family was paramount. Together, they built a foundation of love and support, honored through countless family vacations and yearly trips that created beautiful memories and strengthened the bonds between them all. Timothy, her steadfast companion, shared in many special moments, including the fall hiking adventures through the Summit County Metroparks, a tradition that brought joy and connection to their lives.

Linda was a devoted mother to her children Karl Lewis, Kathleen Almstedt, and Krista Lewis, nurturing each with unwavering support and presence. She delighted in her role as a chaperone for school and church events, always present and eager to encourage her children in their endeavors. Karl shares his life with his fiancée Christine Williams, while Kathleen and her husband Keith, and Krista alongside her husband Pete Young, continue the legacy of love she embodied. Grandchildren Miles and Cedric Almstedt, Jasper Young, and Malakai Velez were a source of pure joy for Linda, and her love for children was evident in every gentle word and caring gesture.

Linda’s kindness extended beyond her family, reaching into the hearts of friends and community alike. Known for her open-door hospitality, her house was a haven for friends and strangers alike, filled with the colorful beauty of flowers and hanging baskets she lovingly tended to, welcoming all with a genuine smile. She had a special fondness for her porch egg swing, a peaceful spot where she enjoyed feeding the birds and finding solace in nature’s quiet rhythms.

A passionate fan of Cleveland sports, Linda cheered enthusiastically for the Browns, Guardians, and Cavaliers, embodying the spirit of loyalty and camaraderie that defined her approach to life. She loved bowling and was known for her easy ability to make friends, her infectious happiness lighting up any room. Her compassion extended to all creatures, offering kindness even to animals less often embraced by others.

Linda was the daughter of the late Edward Bracey and Betty, and sister to the late Beverly Gorman and Robert Bracey. She is survived by her living brother, Edward Bracey, whose bond with her remained strong through the years.
