Linda L. Seddon, 72, went home to be with the Lord on April 16, 2015 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Salem, Ohio on December 21, 1942 to the late Leslie and Carrie Eckhart.
Linda loved antiques and quilting. She and her husband John spent much of their lives restoring antique furniture and especially trunks. She was a member of Salem First Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jeanie Eckhart; and brother, Leslie "Phil" Eckhart. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 57 years, John Seddon Jr. of Akron; children, Susan (Fred) Aguilar of San Antonio, TX; John (Janet) Seddon III of Salem, OH; Shawna (Gregg) Seifert of Suffield Twp, OH, and Jason (Staci) Seddon of Jackson Twp, OH; brother, Jerry (Esther) Eckhart of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Justin (Megan) Clayton, Linda Seddon, Tracy (Andy) West, John Seddon IV, Carrie Seddon, Brandon (Trisha) Seddon, Sarah Seddon, Jacob and Porter; six great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 1-2 followed by a 2:00 p.m. memorial service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44305.
