Lewis M. Hayberg, Jr., 66, of Akron, passed away September 29, 2014. He was born in Akron, Ohio on April 19, 1948 to the late Lewis, Sr. and Ruby Hayberg. Lewis proudly served his country in the Marines during Vietnam from which he received three Purple Heart awards.
In addition to his parents, Lewis was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Kyle. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Annette Hayberg, son, Lewis (Alexi) Hayberg, III, son, Gordon (Shelly) Hayberg, daughter, Kimberly (Mike) Hoch, stepson, Mark Kyle, sister, Cathy (Rich) Fox, brother, David Hayberg, 11 Grandchildren and Nieces and Nephews.
Family and friends may call on Monday, October 6, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron, OH. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at St. Bernard Parish, 44 University Ave, Akron, OH 44308. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
