Leona M. Clark, born March 28, 1947, passed away January 6, 2005 after a long time on dialysis. She was born in Marshall Cty, West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Whitlatch of West Virginia; mother, Frances B. Reynolds of Whindem, OH; brother, Benjamin Whitlatch of West Virginia. She is survived by husband, Chester Clark of Akron; children, Chet and Cathy Clark of Akron; sister, Harriet and Thomas Ward of Lakemore; brother, Harry "Butch" Whitlatch of Lakemore; many nieces, nephews, and in-laws. She was a member of Clavary Gospel Temple for many years. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Full Gospel Tabernacle, 339 Utica Ave, Akron.
