Lawrence Michael Moneypenny

Lawrence Michael Moneypenny, 73, of Uniontown, passed away on April 17, 2025. Larry was born on January 14, 1952 in Akron, Ohio to the late Lawrence G. and Charlotte Moneypenny. He attended grade school at Annunciation Catholic and graduated from East High School.

Larry spent his 30+ year career at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. His positions included manufacturing tires and air springs, and mixing compounds as a Senior Lab Technician.

In his free time, Larry enjoyed fishing, yard work, and polishing the vehicles. He had an extreme passion for music and was an amazing drummer in many bands over the years.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his daughter, Amber Moneypenny and youngest brother, Matthew Moneypenny.

Larry will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Susan, whom he married on August 30, 1975. They would have celebrated 50 years of marriage in four months. He is also survived by his children, Jennifer (Rob) Nicholson, and Parker (Autumn) Moneypenny; siblings, Cathy (Joe) Cotton, David (Linda) Moneypenny, Mary Allen, Doug Moneypenny, Joan (John) Moran, and Claudia (Dan) Smith; grandchildren, Alexa Nicholson, Alec Nicholson, and Abbey Nicholson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025 from 10 am - 11 am, immediately followed by an 11 am funeral service at Suffield Fellowship Church, 1669 Waterloo Rd., Mogadore, OH 44260. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery in Randolph. Following interment, family and friends are invited back to Suffield Fellowship Church for a meal.
