Lawrence Lingel

Lawrence Lingel, 80, a lifelong resident of Brimfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2025, surrounded by love.

Born on November 18, 1944, Larry spent most of his life in the quiet community he cherished. A man of simple joys, he found comfort in feeding the birds outside his window and spending hours with his word search books — small pleasures that brought him peace, especially in his later years as he bravely faced the challenges of dementia.

Larry is survived by his children, Callie (Lingel) Kakascik, Traci (Lingel) Chipman, Lori (Lingel) Hadoulis, and Lawrence John Lingel. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia Lingel. Larry is also remembered by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to visit Friday, June 13, 2025 from 12 to 1 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
