Larry G. Weitzell, Sr.
Larry G. Weitzell, Sr., 61, passed away April 12, 2009. Larry was a professional drag racer and a diesel mechanic, and was the owner of Canton Diesel Service. He is survived by his son, Larry G. Jr. (Anna); parents, Randall and Irene Weitzell; sister, Diane Cianciola (Richard); nieces, Stacey and Kelley Fisher; great-nieces, Chloe Fisher and Makenna Alder; and great-nephews, Tyler Fisher and Bradyn Alder. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where funeral services will follow immediately at 5:30 p.m. with Rev. Beradine Warner officiating.
