Larry Wahl, 59, of Mogadore, went to be with the Lord, peacefully in his sleep on June 7, 2014. He was born in Cuyahoga Falls on February 21, 1955. Larry was employed at Burghardt Metal Fabricating. He loved the outdoors and could often be found fishing, feeding the birds and squirrels, working in the yard, and helping anyone in need. Larry never met a stranger and was well-loved by everyone who knew him. His big heart and wonderful smile will always be remembered by his family and friends.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, Francis J. Wahl; sister, Susie Wahl; and brother, Freddie Wahl. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Lisa Wahl; mother, Catherine Wahl; sons, Tony Wahl, Andrew (Christy) Wahl, Dan (Danielle) Wahl, and Josh Wright; brother, Frank (Debbie) Wahl; sister, Cathy (Bill) Evans; grandchildren, Isaac, Gracie, Ella, Loralei and Samuel; many other relatives, co-workers and friends. He also leaves his beloved cats, Brat and Bear.
A gathering to celebrate Larry's life will be held Tuesday, June 10, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.at Kids Ahead Daycare, 726 South Cleveland Ave. (Route 532) in Mogadore. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Larry's family.
