Larry Schrader
Larry Schrader, 73, of Suffield, was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven on Sunday, December 28, 2014. He was born to the late Arthur and Frances Schrader on January 1, 1941 in Akron, OH. Larry graduated from Hoban High School in 1959 and received a BA in Journalism from Kent State University. He married Joyce Turner in 1993 and they lived together in Suffield, OH. Larry proudly served in the National Guard. He was employed with BF Goodrich for 14 years and then spent 35 years as the owner of Hartville Travel.
John 13:34-35 "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you are also to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."
Larry is survived by Joyce, his wife of 21 years; children, Kevin (Melissa) Schrader, Tom Schrader, David Schrader, Laura (Shane) Polen, Rob Turner, Jason (Marisa) Turner, Jennifer Sweazy; and grandchildren, Sydney, Kaden, Madison, Ian, Austin, Isabella, Hudson, Finn, Miles, Alyssa, Zach, Brianna, and Brice.
He was welcomed in Heaven by his parents and brother Bob (Rosemarie) Schrader.
Family and friends may call on Sunday, January 4, 2015 from 2-6 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Prayers will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a procession to St. Joseph Church Randolph for a 10 a.m. funeral Mass. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to St. Joseph School in Randolph.
