Larry David Peaslee

Larry D. Peaslee, 75, of Akron, passed away on December 18, 2018. He was born to the late John and Marie Peaslee on December 13, 1943. He retired from the City of Akron in the Department of Engineering after 35 years of service. Larry owned a 1955 electric purple Ford truck that he adored. He spent a lot of time at McDonald's with his coffee buddies.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his brother, Carl of California; and sister, Eva Hawkins of Akron. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Barbara; children, Christopher (Kristi), Anita (Bassam), and Michael (Connie); 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends on Friday December 21, 2018 from 1-3pm with the funeral service immediately following at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305.
