Larry Montgomery

Larry W Montgomery, 62, of Massillon, passed away on August 3, 2015 at Hanover Healthcare under the care of Aultman Hospice care. He was born on March 3, 1953, Cleveland, Ohio to John (Gladys) Montgomery. On October 26, 2002, Larry married Jill Montgomery, Larry's "Buttercup". Larry was a proud veteran in the U.S Army during the Vietnam era 1970- 1972. He loved working on classic cars.
He was preceded in death by his parents,John (Gladys) Montgomery; Brothers,Johnny and Robert; sisters, Mary Lee,Wanda and Jeannie.Larry is survived by his loving spouse, Jill, Daughters, Cassie, Lizzie , Jessica ; step son, Erik (Stacy) Neikirk; stepdaughters, Ashley (Craig) Nupp, Brittany (Chris) Thompson; Brothers, Lewis (Becky), Clayton (Kathy) ; Two Sisters, Lynda (Dennis) Shankle, Joan (Rufus ) Mitchell; Grandchildren,Travis,Mia , Riley , Emma , Savannah , Laylah .

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 11, 2015, from 5:00 pm. to 8:00 pm. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, 44305. Wednesday, August 12, 2015, 10:00 to 10.30 visitation at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton RD , Akron, Ohio, service will follow. Interment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
