Larry W. Croft, 79, of Akron, passed away on April 25, 2026. He was born on November 28, 1946 the son of the late Ralph and Edith Croft. He was a man of faith and was a member of South Arlington United Methodist Church. Larry retired after 32 years of dedicated service from Summit County Engineers. Larry’s family was always on his heart first, whom he cherished above all else. His guiding principle was "family first," and this was evident in the love and care he showed to those closest to him throughout his life. Larry was also a proud Harley Davidson enthusiast, finding freedom and exhilaration on the open road. Foremost among these was his deep love of fishing, a passion that connected him to nature and provided countless moments of peace and reflection.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother Charles Croft.
Larry is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Blenda S. Croft; sons Rocky (Jennifer) Croft and Thomas (Lindsay) Croft; grandchildren Austin, Asa, Abbey, and Sebastian; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Akron General Cleveland Clinic Hospice.
