Laird L. Shreckengost, 91, of Akron, passed away October 11, 2012. He was born in Putneyville, PA on July 5, 1921 to the late McKinley and Viola Shreckengost.
Laird was a Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Grant and Chester.
Laird is survived by his lovely wife of 71 years, Ruby; son, Alan; daughter, Nedra (Denny) Blakeman; grandchildren, Michael, Erika, David, Bryan, Marlisa and many great-grandchildren.
Laird was a Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Grant and Chester.
