Lacy Dean Weiss

Lacy Dean Weiss, 81, of Barberton, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family on September 16, 2025. He was born in Ballard, WV on August 12, 1944 to the late George and Margaret {Helvey} Weiss.

In addition to his parents, Lacy was preceded in death by his son Jason Weiss, sisters Bernice (Shirley) Harris, Susan Ann Weiss and Mary Weiss.

Lacy is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; children Michael (Melissa) Weiss and Mark Weiss, Michelle (Shawn) Powell, John (Dalia) Khoury; daughter-in-law Joan Weiss; grandchildren Jared (Lauren) Weiss, Emily (Eduardo) De La Torre; Kayla and Jenna Weiss, Sarah (Dustin) Lemmon, Jared Bittinger and Isabella Powell, Joseph, Isaac and Joanna Khoury; great-grandchildren Amos and Adele Weiss, Lucy Lemmon; siblings Philip "Phil" (Janet) Weiss, Estil "Duke" Weiss, Tracy "Jeff" (Bonnie) Weiss, Richard "Doc" (Diane) Weiss, Elizabeth "Libby" (Ken) Grant and Janet "Fred" (Dickie) Meadows and their families.

Lacy's favorite past-times were spending time with his family, especially the grandkids, and watching his Westerns, like Gunsmoke.
