Listen to Obituary

Kyle Van Almen, lovingly known by everyone as Buggy, left this world far too soon, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and a heart that never stopped giving. To know Kyle was to love him — and to laugh with him — because if he was smiling, you were smiling too.

Kyle had a gift for speaking in movie quotes, turning even the most ordinary moments into something memorable. His wit, humor, and sweetness made him the kind of person people naturally gravitated toward. He was the friend who would drop anything to help someone in need, the brother who showed up without being asked, and the man whose soul was simply good in a way that’s rare in this world.

A lover of animals, an avid music fan, and a meticulous fixer of absolutely anything (sometimes to the point of driving everyone crazy), Kyle approached life with dedication and heart. He worked hard, cared deeply, and poured himself into his family with unwavering loyalty.Kyle leaves behind too many friends and family to list, each carrying their own stories of his generosity, his humor, and the way he made life brighter just by being in it. His absence leaves a space that can never be filled, but his spirit — his laugh, his kindness, his movie lines — will echo in the hearts of everyone who knew him.

In honor of Kyle, those who loved him are invited to raise a glass of his favorite drink, Milagro tequila, and toast to a life lived with love, laughter, and a soul that touched countless others.

May his memory be a blessing, and may we all carry forward a little of his kindness.
