Kevin Carl Christy

Kevin Carl Christy, 68, of Akron, passed away on January 22, 2025. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on November 6, 1956 to the late James H. and June I. {Acree} Christy. 

Kevin is survived by his loving fiancee Phyllis Madden; siblings Mike (Cindy) Christy, Jim (Barb) Christy and Laura Fleshman; nephews Jeremy (Karen) and Nathan (Angie) Purses; nieces Cara (Nick LaLonde) Hander, Elizabeth (Eric Stone) Christy and Michele (Justin) Hagger. 

Kevin was a graduate of Garfield High School, where he played basketball and enrolled in the auto body program. After graduation, he joined the United States Air Force, reaching the rank of Sergeant. He loved his guns, his country, and the Three Stooges.
