Kevin A. Currey
Kevin A. Currey, 50, of Akron, passed away on July 15, 2015. He was born in Akron on June 10, 1965 and graduated from Tallmadge High School. Kevin proudly served in the U.S. Navy for seven years. He spent several years living in Spain after his military service. Kevin loved working with his hands and was always willing to help anyone in need. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Kevin was preceded in death by his father, David Lee Currey. He is survived by his mother, Jean C. Currey; sons, Jesse Blanch Currey and Dylan Blanch Currey; siblings, Conrad Michael Currey, David St. John (Monica) Currey, and Kimberly Belle Currey; stepmother, Janet Currey; nephew and nieces, Joshua, Alyssa, Andrea, Giulianna, and Cerafina Currey; uncle, Dennis Currey; cousins, Kyle and Katie Currey; and many other aunts, cousins, and good friends.
Per Kevin's wishes, cremation will take place. Family and friends are welcome to say goodbye to Kevin at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery on Friday, July 24, 2015 at 10:30 a.m.
