Kenneth Wayne Jenkins

Kenneth Wayne Jenkins, 76, left this earthly life on October 8, 2015, with his family by his side. Wayne lived his life helping his family and friends. He taught his family about the beauty of nature, feeding birds, planting flowers and growing a garden. He will be remembered as a
devoted brother, uncle and friend.
A graduate of Buchtel High School he went on to serve in the Army before being employed by Acme, Fazios, and Lowes. He also headed the Boy Scouts at his church and helped local youths.
He was preceded in death by his parents; John and Susie (Beeman) Jenkins, brothers;
Joseph, Thomas, Raymond and John, sister; Evelyn Caler and nephews; Terry and Christopher Jenkins.
Wayne is survived by brothers; Wesley (Marjorie) and Richard, sister; Phyllis Heathman, sister-in-laws; Flora Jean, Margie and Barbara Jenkins and Vickie Steele. Along with 16 nieces and nephews and many grand-nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the staff at AGMC McDowell Cancer Center, Hospice Care Center and the nurses at VNS Hospice Home Care, especially Patti.
No memorial service is planned. Cremation has already taken place. Burial will take place at
Greenlawn Cemetery.
