Kenneth Edward Ricks

Kenneth Edward Ricks, 87, of Akron, went home to be with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 4, 2025.

He was born in York, South Carolina on June 2, 1937 to the late George and Loretta (Birchfield) Ricks.

In Addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by 3 siblings.

Kenneth worked his entire life for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. He was an avid Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Fan. He enjoyed golfing and fishing. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with late wife of 64 years Rosalie and spoiling his children and grandchildren.

Kenneth is survived by his children Kenneth E. Ricks, II., Leslie "Kay" and Sanj Kalra; grandchildren Sophia Kalra and Halle and Alexio Mah; brother John Paul (Marie) Ricks; and other relatives and friends.

Per Kenneth's wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal services are scheduled.
