Kenneth C. Gunnoe

Kenneth C. Gunnoe, 86, went home to be with the Lord on May 7, 2026. Born in Dry Creek, WV to Orville and Daisy (Richardson) Gunnoe, he resided in Suffield Township during the past 48 years. Ken was a member of Victory Chapel and he retired from Shell Oil after 29 years of service. He enjoyed gardening, taking care of the lawn and spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Gunnoe; great granddaughter, Abigail; sisters, Shirley Bragg, Jean Bradford. He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Richard (Jeannie) Gunnoe, Denise (Tom) Wiant; grandchildren, Jessica Walker, Joshua (Harmony) Wiant, Matthew (Sarah) Wiant, Tristan Matta, Michael (Tiffany) Matta, Jessica Matta; great grandchildren, Daniel, Daisy, Vivian, Rowan, Halo, Scarlett, Violet, Michael, Carson, Raelyn, James; siblings, Bill (Linda) Gunnoe, Junior (Joyce) Gunnoe, Betty Parish; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, May 14, 2026 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. The funeral service will follow at 12 noon at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Randolph. Memorial donations may be made in Ken's name to Summa Hospice.
