Kenneth C. Bailey

Kenneth C. "Kenny" Bailey, 61, of Barberton, passed away June 7, 2014 to play his guitar in the heights of Heaven. He's making a joyful noise unto the Lord- no more sorrow, no more pain. He was born March 30, 1953 in Akron, Ohio to Robert and Donna Bailey, their first of three sons born in March. Kenny graduated from Springfield High School in 1971 and worked for many years in electronics. He was a caring, free spirit and loved expressing himself through his music and jamming with his friends.

Kenny was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Donna (Ihrig) Bailey and girlfriend, Lisa Whipple. He leaves behind to cherish his memory father, Robert (Bertha) Bailey; brothers, Terry (Mary) and David (Christine) Bailey; niece and nephews, Mandy, Matthew, Derek and their families. Kenny was surrounded by a large group of special and caring friends. We thank John, Lisa and Esther for the love and care you showed Kenny.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 from 4:30 pm-6:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd, Akron, where memorial services will be held at 6:00 pm, following visitation, with Pastor David Powell officiating.
