Ken M. Skinner

March 12, 1949 — July 14, 2014

Kenneth M. Skinner, 65, of Randolph, passed away July 14, 2014. He was born in Akron, Ohio on March 12, 1949 to the late Felix and Catherine Skinner. Ken loved golfing, fishing, woodcarving, and camping. He retired from Mactac and formerly worked at Quaker Oats. Ken and his wife enjoyed traveling between Florida and Ohio during their retirements.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his Brother, Fred Skinner. He will be dearly missed by his loving Wife of 42 years, Vicki Skinner; Daughter, Michelle (Jason) Meridith, Daughter, Kelly A. Brooks, Brother, David (Joan) Skinner, Brother, Tommy (Elsie) Skinner, Sister, Mary Skinner, Grandchildren; Erin (Cole) Bataille, Cindi Clemons, Jarad Meridith, Ashton Brooks, Great-Grandchild, Emily Bataille, many Nieces and Nephews. Special thanks to Hospice of Summa for their outstanding care for Ken and his family.

Family and friends may call on Saturday, July 19, 2014 from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron, OH 44305 where a Celebration of Life will begin at 4:00 pm following visitation. In honoring Ken's final wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
