Ken L. Bussey

Kenneth L. Bussey, 67, of Akron, passed away on May 19, 2026. He was born on November 3, 1958 the son of the late Edwin and Genevieve Bussey of Akron, Ohio. He proudly served his country in the Army Reserves. Ken was a honorable Master Mason of the Clinton Lodge #47. He worked many years at Akron Tool & Die and Sharon Manufacturing. Ken enjoyed woodworking. He also spent his time outdoors where he would do Skeet shooting and enjoyed being with friends and family at the family cabin. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor, his infectious smile and laughter and the love in his heart.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Stephen Bussey; and nephew Joshua Bussey.

Ken is survived by his sisters Terri (Chuck) Stayshich and Mary Winters; nieces and nephews Ryan (Emily) Stayshich, Sara (Travis) Hawk, Jami (Bill) Brewer, and Matthew (Holly) Bussey.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron 44305).
