Kathleen Marie "Kathy" Arnold

Kathleen Marie "Kathy" Arnold, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2026, at the age of 78. Born on May 6, 1947, Kathy was a shining light in the lives of those who knew her.

Kathy graduated from St. Thomas School of Nursing, an accomplishment that laid the foundation for her lifelong dedication to healthcare and nurturing. Kathy dedicated 30 years of her life as a teaching nurse at Cape Coral Hospital in Cape Coral, Florida, where her passion for nursing shone brightly. Her commitment to her profession and her genuine care for her patients were evident throughout her distinguished career.

Kathy was married to her devoted husband of 52 years, William "Bill" Arnold. Together, they traveled extensively, exploring the beauty of the coastlines and creating cherished moments that will stay in the hearts of those who witnessed their love.

Also survived by her daughter Beth Stevens; step-daughter Beth (Dennis) Vargo; her grandchildren, Dustin Zadai, Halle Koneval, John Koneval, Isabella Vargo, Alexandria Vargo, and her great-granddaughter, Ivy Zadai. Each moment shared together was a treasure, and Kathy made it her mission to create memories that would last a lifetime. She is also remembered fondly by her siblings, Edward (Kathleen) Tyrrell, Linda Severns, and Jane Levitt, as well as her niece Alexis McDonald and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to her professional achievements, Kathy took great joy in hosting gatherings for her family and friends. She created countless memories with her warm hospitality, turning her home into a haven of love and laughter. Kathy's deep affection for her family was perhaps best reflected in her role as a grandmother; she was known as the "best grandma ever," cherishing every moment spent with her grandchildren.

Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Evelyn Tyrrell, and her sisters, Rebecca Colling and Nancy Ricker.

Kathy Arnold leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and a profound impact that will resonate within her family and community for years to come.
