Katharina "KD" Wilmoth, 84, born in Germany and settling in Akron, went to be with the Lord on November 8, 2016. KD retired from Summa Akron City Hospital after 32 years of service and gave five more years of her life to FedEx. KD had a heart of gold and was a very loving and forgiving woman; she was very strong-willed and feisty and those elements of her character and her presence will be dearly missed.
In addition to her parents and siblings, she is now reunited with her husband of 48 years, Eli Wilmoth, who preceded her in 2005, and her son Christian Wilmoth in 2004.
KD is survived by her daughter, Carol Wilmoth; son, Robert (Debra) Wilmoth; grandchildren, Michael, Robert Jr. II., Jeffery, Shawn Michael, Matthew and Kaylynn; numerous great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held on Friday, November 11, 2016 at 10 am at Hillside Memorial Park, 1025 Canton Rd., Akron, OH 44312.
