Kashton Kartier Cornelius Carmichael

Kashton Kartier Cornelius Carmichael, age 4, went to Heaven on May 4, 2025. He was born on July 2, 2020 in Akron, Ohio, the beloved son of Cayli Sheffler and Deante Carmichael.

Kashton left a huge impact on so many people, despite his brief time on Earth. Kashton was so full of love and attitude. Kashton was such an amazing little boy: so smart, so energetic, just amazing in all aspects! He loved Mickey Mouse and recently started to enjoy SpongeBob! As we all know, Kashton was non-verbal but if looks could kill…that attitude was just like his momma's..terrible!!! But if you knew him, you had no other option but to love him and remember his laugh!

Kashton was preceded in death by his Uncle Raymond Johnson; Great-Grandma Edna Trahan; Cousin Ryan Dossie; and God-Brother JaCari Phillips.

Kashton will be dearly missed by his Mother Cayli Sheffler and Stepfather Jeffie Avery; Father Deante Carmichael; Grandmothers Tracy Georgekopoulos and Norma Carmichael; Grandfather Robert Shepherd; Aunts Kelsey Sheffler, Diamond and Dashai Carmichael and Uncles Jacob Georgekopoulos, Desean Carmichael, and Allonte Combs; Great-Grandparents Terry Sheffler and Terri Trahan; God-Parents Tylan Person and Sierrea Williams and God-Sisters Taliyah and K’ari.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at1:00 p.m. with visitation from 12:00 noon until the start of the service at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, Ohio 44305.
