Karen Kosir, 61, passed away Dec. 12, 2008. Karen was a retired nurse, and dedicated her life to her son and grandson. She is survived by her son, Jason Kosir; mother, Evelyn Howe; sisters, Carole Rector and Debra Howe; brother, Brian Howe (Robin); grandson, Nicolas Maar; and 5 nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Wednesday, Dec. 17, from 12 to 1 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, with a funeral service following at 1 p.m. Interment at Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
