Justin A. Wise

Justin A. Wise, age 41, passed away at home on October 30, 2026. Justin has been ill for the last 10 years. His life has become limited to being at home along with short outings. Still, he found solace in reading biographies, watching documentaries, movies, drumming and making art.

He studied authors who spoke of rising above your circumstances. Justin trained his mind to persevere over illness and pain. His strength and courage define who he has been. He left an impression on others, as a warrior and a survivor.

Our heartfelt thanks to his University Hospital doctors and nurses. Crossroads Hospice cared for him at home for 3 months. The exceptional nurses and doctors there guided us through those last few months.

Justin is survived by his mother, Linda Wise; father, Mark Wise, beloved daughter, Kayden Richards, sweet rescue dog, Lucy. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Per the family's wishes, there will be no services. Free at last from your pain, dear Justin.
