Judy S. Maida

Judy S. Maida, 64, of Akron, passed away on April 8, 2016. She was born in Akron on March 13, 1952 to the late Kenneth and Gloria Cobb. Judy loved to collect cows and hummingbirds. She was an avid football fan and kept detailed files on all her favorite teams. She also liked to play bingo. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her sisters, Diane and Penny. She will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Ernest Maida; children, Stacy Butler, Kenneth Bagwell Jr., and Joseph Maida; sister, Betty (Louie) Smith; brother, Michael (Vicky) Cobb; aunt, Gloria Isley; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Friday, April 15, 2016 from 5-7 followed by a 7:00 p.m. funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
