Judy A. (Haynes) Kruse

Judy passed away peacefully on August 5, 2026.

Judy was from Auburn Indiana but lived in Kent, Ohio. She married John Kruse on January 11, 1964.

Judy graduated from Auburn High School in 1961. Following high school graduation, she became a cosmologist and eventually had her own salon in Auburn.

Judy was an avid fan of Indiana University and all sports associated with IU. She never missed an IU Basketball game and was a true Hoosier.

Judy had three children: Trent Kruse (deceased), Tami Herman of West Palm Beach, FL and Eric Kruse of Suffield, OH. She has five grandchildren: Brody Casamento Sr (deceased), Jake & Sydney (Laubscher) Kruse, Logan Kruse, Luke Kruse, and Mark Herman III, and two great-grandchildren, Brody Casamento Jr and Carter Kruse along with several nieces and nephews.

Judy is survived by John, Tami and Eric. She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret & Carl Haynes, and sisters, Charlotte Haynes, Marcel Uhl and Donna Reynolds.

In lieu of a funeral, she wished for donations in her name to the ALS Foundation (ALS.org).
