Judy M. Kindermann, 84, of Kent, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2026. She was born on February 27, 1942 in New Orleans to the late W.A. and Evelyn Montgomery. Judy spent much of her youth in Venezuela. As an adult, she resided in Massachusetts, Texas, New Jersey, Florida, Indiana, and Tennessee before moving to Ohio for the past ten years.
Judy was incredibly creative and took great joy in quilting, knitting, and crocheting. After retirement, she taught classes at a local quilting store and after moving to KentRidge, she shared her handiwork knowledge through classes for fellow residents.
She was a wonderful cook, making all her recipes from scratch. She loved shopping with her daughter, Debra. Judy will always be remembered for her sassy spirit. She could make any activity fun.
Judy's Christian faith was a big part of her life and she found comfort in Christ in her final years.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Kindermann in 2013 and her dear son, Todd Washburn in 2025.
Judy's legacy lives on in her surviving children, Scott (Martha) Washburn, Steven (Lisa) Kindermann, Douglas (Sarah) Kindermann, and Debra (John IV) Osborne; daughter-in-law, Laura Washburn; sister, Linda (Jim) Thompson; nieces, Traci and Teri; fifteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and one on the way.
Per Judy's wishes, her family will celebrate her life privately.
