Judy Marie Coble

November 13, 1945 — May 29, 2025

Judy Marie Coble, a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and beloved wife, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2025, in her hometown of Akron, Ohio. Born on November 13, 1945, Judy's life was a celebration of love, family, and creativity.

A proud graduate of Springfield High School in 1963, Judy's journey began with her passion for beauty, taking her to Beauty School in Akron where she honed her skills as a talented beautician. Yet, her greatest joy came as a homemaker, where she poured her heart into raising her children, Jeffrey, Julie, Lori, and Michael. Judy exemplified what it meant to be a family-oriented person, dedicating herself to her role and all the activities that accompanied it, often volunteering her time to support her children's endeavors.

Judy’s spirit was that of a true nurturer. Her love knew no bounds, as she selflessly dedicated her life to those she adored. Her generous heart radiated warmth, and she was known for her giving nature, always putting the needs of others before her own.

An incredibly crafty and talented individual, she relished in sewing, painting, and creating beautiful flower arrangements that brightened the lives of her friends and family, especially during weddings. These unique creations not only showcased her artistic flair but also embodied her loving touch.

Her marriage to her husband Dan, a partnership spanning 47 wonderful years, was marked by love and devotion. Together they navigated life's joys and challenges, their bond a testament to enduring affection. Judy and Dan's love story was accentuated by sweet gestures, such as the beautiful yellow roses he would gift her, a symbol of their affectionate relationship.

Judy is survived by her husband Dan; children Julie (Larry) Barath, Lori (Jason Danehart) Coble and Michael Coble; and her legacies of love, laughter, and memories through her cherished grandchildren: Brett Kovach, Christian Grimmett, Zachary (Shelby) Grimmett, Logan Sano, Jonah (Madison) Danehart, and Xander Danehart; as well as her great-grandchildren Iris Grimmett, Theodore Grimmett, Lilith Danehart, and Lawson Danehart. Each of them carries a piece of her spirit, molded by the values she instilled and the love she showered upon them.

Though her parents, George and Marie Patterson, her siblings Donald Patterson and Bonnie Newman, her son Jeffrey Ledbetter, and her granddaughter Morgan Coble have passed on, Judy's memory will continue to shine brightly within the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

As we remember Judy Marie Coble, let us celebrate a life beautifully lived, a woman whose every act was steeped in love and whose legacy will forever resonate within her family and friends. Her spirit, vibrant and giving, will linger on in the memories she created and the lives she touched along her remarkable journey.

Visitation will be held Friday June 6th from 11 AM-12:30 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home. Funeral services begin at 12:30 PM in the funeral home. Final resting place is Hillside Memorial Park.
