Judith G. Carpenter Olson

Judith G. Carpenter Olson, 69, went home to the Lord on April 29, 2014.
Judy retired from Akron Public Schools after many years of service. She was a member of The Chapel in Green. Judy was an animal lover and enjoyed her pet Chihuahuas.
Preceded in death by parents, Donald and Donna Carpenter; and brother, David Carpenter.
Survivors include sons, Christopher Olson, Todd (Teresa) Olson, and Derek Olson; grandson, Tyler; sister, Janice Carpenter; and niece, Melissa Carpenter.
Calling hours will be Sunday, 2-5 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a funeral service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the ASPCA.
