Juanita F. Walsh, 77, of Akron, passed away on January 30, 2015. She was born in Akron on May 14, 1937 to the late Neville and Mayme Coleman. Juanita loved socializing and had many dear friends throughout her life. In her free time, she enjoyed quilting, knitting, and shopping.
In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by her son, Robert "Bobby" Reid and brother, Jerry Coleman. She will be deeply missed by her sons, Randy (Janet) Reid and Eric "Flash" Emerick; brother, Wayne (Sandy) Coleman; grandchildren, Matthew Reid and Jennifer Reid; three nieces and one nephew. Juanita's family wishes to thank the staff at National Church Residences on Bath Rd., Summa Hospice, and her Hospice nurse, Sandy for all their loving care.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Visitation will also be Thursday from 11-12 followed by a 12 noon funeral service with Pastor Jacob Ley officiating at the funeral home. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hattie Larlham Foundation, 7996 Darrow Rd Suite 10, Twinsburg, OH 44087.
