Joyce Ann Johnson

On Feb. 4, 2015, Joyce Johnson drifted peacefully into the arms of our heavenly father after a courageous battle with cancer. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Florence Reese; infant son Martin. She is survived by daughters, Judi, Lora (Neil), and Erin (Greg); grandchildren; Marvin, Leeann, Drue, Megan, Neil, Taylor, and numerous family and friends. Joyce had such an amazing drive and enjoyment for life. Even after retiring from St. Joseph School in Randolph, her passion still was teaching, but her legacy is the love and strength she gave to her family. She had many hobbies and joys in her life but her greatest were her grandchildren. She would always tell us, "Don't cry for me when I'm gone, but smile because I was here and I love you." She valued and honored everyone she met. She could turn a stranger into a long lasting friendship. She lived her life her way loving each and everyone. In honoring her wishes she will be cremated and there will be no services, but a Celebration of Life in the Spring as she wanted.
