Josephine Joyce Bowser

Josephine Joyce Bowser, "Joyce", age 91 of Atwater, Ohio, died on December 17, 2022.
She was born in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania on October 3, 1931, the daughter of the late Harry and Irene (nee Stiger) Yingling Sr.
Joyce was a loving homemaker, always providing the best for her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, they always came first. She loved cooking, baking, camping and riding the 4-wheeler with her husband.
Joyce was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Akron.
Survivors include her children, Randall C. (Geraldine "Geri") Bowser and Timothy Scott Bowser; her several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Her sister, Zeck Yarnall of St. Clairsville, PA, also survives.
Other than her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Willard R. "Willie" Bowser on January 23, 2007, they were united in marriage on May 21, 1950; her children, Bradley Bowser, Rodney Bowser and Trina Bowser; her daughter-in-law, Susan Kay Bowser; her brother, Harry Yingling Jr; and her sister, Bonnie Weisel.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44305, where Pastor Bob Stephens will celebrate Joyce's life.
Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.
