Joseph Yannuzzo, 88, of Akron, passed away April 23, 2014. He was born in Greensburg, PA on February 3, 1926 to the late Joseph and Maria Yannuzzo. Joe was a barber for 45 years in Portage Lakes.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Theresa Parello and Helen Easaky; brothers, Marion and Alfonzo. Joseph is survived by his children, Joseph Jr. (Linda), Alice (Patrick) Lynch and David; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Jane Pagano and Mary .
Family and friends may call on Friday, April 25, from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 26 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Demetrimittas Mittas officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Ronald McDonald House, 245 Locust St., Akron, OH 44302.
