Joseph J. Pfeiffer

Joseph J. Pfeiffer, 87, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2026. He was born on August 4, 1938, the son of John and Elizabeth Pfeiffer. Joseph lived a life grounded in dedication to family, hard work, loyalty, strength and humor. He proudly served in the U.S. Army Reserves. Joseph retired after more than 35 years with Ohio Edison and also worked at the Richfield Coliseum for over 14 years. Joseph enjoyed traveling, reading, perfecting “Pond Joe,” and most importantly spending time with his family.

For 61 wonderful years, he shared a loving marriage with his wife, Margaret Pfeiffer. Together they built a family filled with love, support and lasting memories. Joseph was a devoted father to Judi (Karl-Heinz) Strass, Krisa (Dennis) Attick and Joe Pfeiffer (Heather Hummel). He took great pride in his children and his six grandchildren: Sophia, Katie, Cassidy, Cole, Nate and Mia. His steady presence and care will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Joseph will be remembered for his kindness, his commitment to family and the meaningful ways he showed up for those he loved.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1761 2nd St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221 on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.  with reception to follow.
