Joseph P. Bojo, Sr.

Joseph P. Bojo, Sr., 67, of Akron, passed away unexpectedly April 27, 2002 at Akron City Hospital. He was born January 19, 1935 in Akron, Ohio to the late Joe & Katherine (Klein) Bojo. Joe proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines between the years of 1954 and 1962. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and served as Head Usher at the 4:00 Saturday Mass. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, David L.; brothers, Karl and John. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra L., with whom he celebrated 41 years of marriage on April 22nd; sons and daughters-in-law, Joe & Joanne, Jr. of Akron and Rod & Shelley of Cuyahoga Falls; grandchildren, Michelle, Joe III, Erica and Danielle. Friends may call Tuesday from 4 - 8 p.m. at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. where prayers will be said Wednesday at 9:20 a.m. followed by a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Paul Catholic Church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
