Joseph J. Pelle, Sr.

Joseph J. Pelle, Sr., 92, passed away on February 20, 2015.
He was born in Akron on September 8, 1922 to the late Peter and Carmela Pelle. Joe retired from Seiberling Rubber Co. in 1979. He loved tinkering in his big garage with all of his tools.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dominic; sister, Filomena; son-in-law, Norris. Survivors include his beautiful wife, Wilda, of 74 years; children, Barbara Franklin, Judy Keeling, Joanne (Rick) Lerch, Pam (Mike) King, Patty (Jon) Hartney, and Joseph, Jr. (Michelle); 12 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
Special thanks to Great Lakes Caring Hospice and the staff at Gardens of the Western Reserve Assisted Living Facility for their care.
Per Joe's wishes, cremation will take place and no public services will be held.
